  • Led budget-neutral renovation and merchandising project, leading to significant year-over-year circulation increases: 2008, 11%; 2009, 32%; 2010, 12%.
  • Reorganized staff of six FTE and four part-time employees; initiated annual reviews and monthly supervisor meetings; formalized progressive discipline procedures.
  • Installed new workstations in December 2008: year-over-year computer use more than doubled in 2009.
  • Secured grant from South Jersey Charitable Foundation, PSE&G Direct Install Program, and initiated successful 5K race, which raised funds for new teen area and attracted significant local and national coverage.
  • Created new website (including a NexGen catalog interface) based on Scriblio, an open source WordPress plugin supported in part by the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation.
